Green Car Congress: Honda delivers first Fit EV to California customer

American Honda Motor Co., Inc., delivered the first all-electric 2013 Honda Fit EV to a couple in Southern California. The 2013 Honda Fit EV carries a combined adjusted Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) mile-per-gallon-equivalency rating of 118 MPGe, and a consumption rating of 29 kWh per 100 miles. Honda hiring at Indiana plant, adding Civic Hybrid

Honda’s Greensburg, Indiana plant is adding a $ 40 million boost in order to increase production by 25%, hiring more American workers as well as adding the high-selling Civic Hybrid to the line. SEAT delivers EVs and PHEVs to Barcelona for 6-month trial

SEAT—the Spain-based member of the Volkswagen Group—earlier this year delivered three electric-drive cars to Barcelona City Hall: two Leon TwinDrive Ecomotive plug-in hybrids, and one Altea XL Electric Ecomotive, an all-electric zero-emissions car.
