The good people over at the KillaCycle Team HQ, down in Colorado, are apparently not happy having the fastest EV on two wheels. They need something faster. What’s more, Crew Chief Eva Hakansson wants to be the one to drive it. So they’re putting together a new streamliner motorcycle in hopes of heading for the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah this September.
In a whirlwind week of work, they’ve got the frame built and it doesn’t look anything like the Suzuki GSXR 1100-90 it began life as.
Actually, the frame is all-custom and built to specifications based on their CAD designs and only the Suzuki’s wheels, axles, etc. are being used. As you can see, the frame work is literally being built around Eva and should fit like a glove.
Can’t wait to see this bike in action when it’s done!
Read Eva’s walk through of the four days of fast-paced fabricating, with pictures, on her blog here.
